Hey, I’m Nicholaus — the guy behind NT 3D Railroad LLC.
After an accident forced me to change careers, I taught myself 3D printing and started designing these rail beds right here in Las Vegas. What started as therapy for the mind and a way to make my own trains look better under the Christmas tree turned into a full business.
Every piece is my own design — 3D printed, packaged, and shipped by me. Nothing is outsourced. It’s all made right here in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

What is the return policy?
Our goal is for every customer to be happy with what they receive. If something arrives damaged or we sent the wrong item, email us at ntrailroad@gmail.com with your order number and a photo within 7 days of delivery and we’ll make it right.
Unused items in original packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund of the product price. Buyer pays return shipping unless the error was ours. Once we get the return and confirm it’s unused, we’ll refund the product (shipping is not refunded).
Are any purchases final sale?
Yes. Sale items, custom pieces, and opened or used railbed cannot be returned. If a package shows up damaged, that’s different — send photos and we’ll take care of it.
When will I get my order?
Orders are printed, packed, and shipped from Las Vegas. Most orders go out within 3–5 business days. You’ll get a tracking number when it ships. Transit time depends on your carrier and address. Holiday and show weekends can add a few days.
Where are your products manufactured?
Every piece is designed, 3D printed, packaged, and shipped by NT 3D Railroad LLC in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Nothing is outsourced.
Does this include track?
No. These are railbeds only. Drop the track you already own into the molded cradle. We do not sell track, switches, or crossings — just the railbed that goes under them.
Will my G Scale track work with this?
Yes, if it’s standard G Scale from LGB, Bachmann, Aristo-Craft, Lionel, or USA Trains. The railbed is brand-agnostic. Track sits in the cradle and the sections lock together with magnetic clips.
Does O27 / O Scale use magnets?
No. O27 railbed uses basic yellow clips, not magnets. That keeps the cost down on the smaller system. G Scale uses magnetic clips.
What clips do I need?
G Scale pieces ship with magnetic clips. O27 pieces ship with basic yellow clips. Extra O27 clips are sold as an 8-pack if one breaks or gets lost. Don’t mix the two systems — O27 clips will not work on G Scale, and G Scale magnets will not work on O27.
Can I mix O27 and G Scale railbed?
No. They are two different systems with different sizes and different clips. Buy O27 for Lionel O27 tubular track. Buy G Scale for LGB, Bachmann, Aristo-Craft, Lionel G, and USA Trains.
What’s the difference between a bundle and buying pieces?
A bundle is a complete layout in one box — oval, figure-8, point-to-point, or loop — at a lower price than buying each pack separately. Individual packs are there if you already have a start and just need more curve, straight, or a switch.
Do the switches and crossings include the actual switch or crossing?
No. The railbed is made to fit the Lionel O27 switch or 1021 90° crossing you already have. Your switch or crossing sits in the cradle.
Are the pieces outdoor / garden-railway rated?
These are made for indoor layouts, holiday displays, and covered setups. Long-term sun and weather will fade and weaken 3D-printed plastic. If you run garden railway outdoors, keep the railbed covered or bring it in.
